Meet Chef Frankie

Born and raised in San Diego, Chef Frankie Becerra’s culinary journey began at the San Diego Culinary Institute where he discovered his love for local, sustainable ingredients and the farm-to-table movement. Over the years, Frankie has honed his skills working in several highly respected restaurants including serving as Executive Chef of Cucina Urbana. Today, he is thrilled to bring his expertise in creating innovative, globally inspired dishes to University Club San Diego.
